
History:
Originally built in 1991 in Houma, Louisiana as the Antonio T. Gambarella for G and B Marine Incorporated of Beaumont, Texas, the Pinuccia has had quite a voyage.
In 1998, she was acquired by Double Eagle Marine Inc. of New Iberia, Louisiana, where she was renamed as the Apache Eagle. Then, in 2001, she was acquired by the Delta Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana, where was renamed as the Delta Fantasy.
In 2011, the Delta Towing Company was acquired by Crosby Marine Transportation Inc. of Golden Meadow, Louisiana, where the tug retained her name.
Finally in 2015, she was attained by Boston Marine Transport Inc. of East Boston, Massachusetts where she got her name as the Pinuccia. The name means "Little Josephine", after the owner's mother.

Technical Aspects:
Though her name means "Little Josephine", she packs a punch. Powered by two Detroit Diesel 16 V 149 T.I.B diesel engines with Haley HRV 216reduction gears, at a ratio of 7:1. Turning two 80(in), by 84(in), fixed pitch, propellers, mounted in kort nozzles, she has a rated 4,200 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two 50kW/110/220/440amp Kato generators. Driven by two GM 4-71 diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 15,000 gallons of potable water, 60,000 gallons of fuel, and 1,222 gallons of lube oil.
The towing gear consists of an INTERcon Water Fall DW-150 towing Winch. Outfitted with 2,000(ft) of 1.75(in) cable on one drum. And, 100(ft) of 1(in) towing cable on the second drum.
